Located in Mexico, Sensory House is conceived as an immersive space dedicated to sensory experience, well-being, and introspection.
The project is defined by a sequence of carefully curated environments, each designed to evoke a specific emotional and spatial condition. Materiality, light, and proportion are used as primary tools to shape perception and guide the user through a gradual transition between states.
The decompression lounge introduces a circular spatial gesture, where soft lighting, natural textures, and controlled geometry create a sense of calm and disconnection from the exterior environment.
The reception area establishes the first point of contact, combining warmth and clarity through a refined palette of wood and stone, while maintaining a welcoming and composed atmosphere.
More private spaces, such as the consultation room and the library, are designed to foster focus and introspection. Custom shelving, natural light, and soft tonal variations reinforce a sense of intimacy and comfort.
Sensory House proposes a contemporary approach to experiential design, where architecture becomes a medium to influence perception, emotion, and well-being.
