An installation made of a transparent “empty-shell” like clock that offers condensed characteristics of the PANERAI brand elongated to a length of 8m, and a circular atelier space that resembles a “gearwheel of a watch”. Start time of production is simply converted into “millimeters” length, and a piece of the “empty-shell like clock” of such length is sliced out. Then, the piece is manually assembled into a clock in the circular atelier space that is set up for each production stage such as polishing, sandblasting and assembling. Day by day, timepieces of various thicknesses are created before the eyes of visitors, calibrated according to the timing of the creation of each work. People can experience time b reducing “time” to “length.”
