Japanese Dining ‘SORI’ <そり>
A SORI<そり>, if interpreted in Japanese, refers to a state in which a knife is curved like a bow.
In Korean, it also expresses hearing in the ear.
Like "sound" in which one word is interpreted differently, the space was released to express both meanings. It showed the process of cooking in an irori oven from the outside, arousing curiosity, and adopting a movement line for inflow into the interior, and hoped that every element given in the space would be a different experience. The visual elements are rough, but the delicate food and plating given by the eclipse itself are designed in such a way that they show different ambivalence and solve the different meanings expressed by the word sound.
Through rough textures, dark colors, and somewhat dark illumination from the outside, we increased our focus on space, and we designed it in the hope that a space where we can fully feel and be satisfied with all five senses of sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell in one space.
