The exhibition, which showcases the history of religions in Catalonia, and its relationship to language, and therefore mainly shown by documents and / or books, is divided into six themes, which in turn each of them splits into two. The intention of the project is from the beginning, helping to explain from the spatial arrangement of the exhibition structure, to help as possible as to the full reading of the curatorial discourse. Similarly, and as a starting point for the project, raised the assembly design as a simple project, economic and sustainable.
The exhibition is conceived as a succession of uniform containers, reinforcing the curatorial thesis to treat all religions with equivalence, these containers are crossed by a backbone that connects all the spaces, and therefore all religions. Establishing uniformity in the assembly, is broken only at special points, such as visual input or the tops of the central corridor. In the latter, reinforcing the visual parts of formal or symbolic value, placed strategically in the design: bells at the entrance to allow public interaction, a projection contained colorist holidays and sculpture of great historical value, in ends of this axis. Before a voluntary assembly homogeneous color and contrast is provided by the lighting up: a wide gamut generated only by color filters and light intensities, which bathe walls, texts and reproductions of pieces (not originals), generating a rhythm and cadence to a voluntary exposure repetitive in form.
As for the realization of the container, the project aims at its purest expression tectonics of austerity. A clear commitment by the source material recycled and recyclable, corrugated cardboard, is the origin of the project. The carton piled up, creating large stacks, a practice he emptied to contain the pieces, the inside lining must display cases, for security and maintenance of parts made with standard wood without treatment or finish, and finally simply bolted glass, without further detail that regulated modulation between all the windows, acts as a protection of the pieces. All the selected materials, is thus a recursive search to the austerity and desire for a sustainable ephemeral architecture and above all, contained.
