The staff house of the Corvatsch Bahn ski lift company in Surlej is located in the immediate vicinity of the valley station. The wood and Eternit facade is structured by a clear cubic design language. The heating of the building is of particular interest, being heated with the waste heat from the engines of the mountain railway. This ecological orientation of the building is underlined by a highly insulated facade.
