Design Partnership was entrusted with the task of upgrading the employee canteen at Standard Bank Head Office in Rosebank. The main objective was to create a standout destination among nearby hospitality brands and transform the lobby into a dynamic space that fosters meaningful interactions both internally and externally.
The design approach recognizes the evolving nature of the workplace, viewing it as a new form of retail. It aims to provide exceptional work experiences within a well-crafted setting. The upgraded Standard Bank Canteen in Rosebank exemplifies this vision.
The space and services were meticulously designed to cater to users' changing needs throughout the day, seamlessly transitioning from morning coffee to lunch and after-work drinks with various seating options. The design concept emphasizes a fluid and integrated experience, promoting an exceptional work environment that enhances productivity and engagement.
