A unique concept store design for the Israeli brand Story, a special and distinctive company known for emphasizing the concept and narrative behind every brand it introduces—an organization with values we all recognize.

When the idea arose to create a new concept store that would serve as the brand’s flagship location, the design approach was to give a nod to the visual language of the existing stores (including the use of industrial materials and a grid of tiles) and to create a fresh concept reflecting the company's core values, with a focus on sustainability, recycling, and fair consumption culture.

As part of this concept, it was decided that the store’s design, execution, and finishes would be created mainly from natural or recycled materials. The result is a store built from approximately 47% natural or recycled materials.

We wrapped the store’s façade and interior walls with natural plaster from the company Botz, made entirely from natural materials and applied over natural terracotta tiles. In addition, some of the carpentry and metalwork elements, as well as the blocks, were produced from recycled materials. The combination of these natural materials with innovative, industrial elements creates a harmonious blend that tells the story of the store and the brand.

The store was designed to be modular and functional, with removable shelving and interchangeable elements that were specially designed and crafted for the space.

The central space is divided by the cash register and the shoe area, creating a sort of separation between the zones. These two functions are connected to a metal ceiling structure incorporating screens and linked together by a lighting element.

At the store’s entrance, we positioned an iconic dry-cleaning-inspired hanging element—a playful nod to classic industry—featuring a screen at the top of the structure, while the lower section is clad in a natural terracotta platform.

Additionally, on the other side of the entrance, we installed a recycling bin specifically designed for collecting used clothing items from the brand. This bin has a slot to add more items and physically demonstrates the conceptual agenda of recycling and creating an artistic element from repurposed clothing.

Inside the space, we integrated several traditional handmade rugs to create a contrast between the clean materiality and the vibrant colors, adding another layer of tactile content to the overall spatial experience.

We placed significant emphasis on the signage details and brand identification within the store, making them an integral part of the overall design language.
