A Family Resort located in the Pelabuhan Ratu (West Java) has 5 main buildings, the Main House, the Service House, the Parents House, and 2 typical villas . Knowing the potential of the site, architects tries to used the breeze and the long coast line view which bordering the location. The house designed with many openings to maximize the breeze and the view overlooking to its landscape. The material used is wood which dominated by the woods from coconut tree that locally available around the site. Almost all elements in the house completed with woods on its floors, walls, columns, until the ceiling, considering the high level of the soil acidity made the use of steel or aluminum will easily get rusty. Since the owner rent this resort mainly to foreign tourists, architects designed the villa and the main house to have a spacious balcony and terrace, considering most foreigners loves a big and spacious area filled with sunshine. In the middle section of the resort there’s a swimming pool and a couple of amphitheatres for visitors socialize purpose area. Along the path that connects the buildings, big pot boxes has been placed on its left and right side so the coconut trees can be arranged neatly in this site with size about 7000m.
