Taman Sutera is located on Jalan Kemakmuran, Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Located at the intersection of Jalan Kemakmuran and Jalan Kayangan, the shape of the park site is quite unique, which is triangular. The location flanked by two major roads makes this park strategic and easily accessible. The existence of this park adds to the list of new destinations for local residents, both to relax and unwind on weekends.

Taman Sutera is designed by maximizing the unique shape of the site, while maintaining the basic shape, which is the basic shape of a triangle. This shape has three corners that are used as gathering points in the park design, with plazas and location markers as photo spots. The distribution of gathering points in the site aims to avoid focusing on the center of the park, because each corner has the same appeal. In addition, the presence of a sculpture located right in the center of the park serves as the main marker of this place, in the form of a silkworm statue that represents the name Taman Sutera. Although the shape of the sculpture that we originally designed is not entirely the same as what exists today.

Besides having an attractive design, the park is also equipped with various facilities to support activities in it, such as public toilets and visitor stands. Public toilets are provided for park visitors as well as residents who pass by the park area. The existence of the stands was originally designed to accommodate social activities, including small-scale performances that might be held as part of activities in the park. In addition, the lighting arrangement is an additional attraction, especially at night, so that this park can be enjoyed not only in the morning and afternoon, but also into the night as a community destination center.
