Surrounded by water, linked with the land by a bridge in the north, facing spacious Dushu Lake in the east, and looking at the land in the west, the base is favorably endowed with rich view resources. The irregular south-north long and narrow land cover 53811㎡ totally and its gross construction area is 14475.4㎡. Due to different views of the east and west sides of the enter land and the different building lines, the project consists of five types of apartments in all（404m2*6，535m2*6，624m2*6，795m2*3，1270m2*1）.
The height difference forms various viewing sight so as to improve the lake view utilization rate. Based on the view conditions 22 two-to-three-storied single-family villas and clubs were built from north to south, thus forming a special street compound and a distinctive high-end lake view villa community.
This project takes the street space as the planned core. Its shape and quality is embodied by the main street which runs through the whole island from south to north. The classical street forms a quartet, that is 'introduction, developing, changing and concluding'. As for the first impression people will have when they enter the island by the bridge, modern-styled clubs and Chinese -styled views at the entrance will show modern high-class architecture together with the south China implications, which is so-called 'introduction'. Next as for 'developing', when people enter the street space, the streets which consist of all kinds of yards, walls and green fences continue the theme of this project. If people keep walking, they will suddenly enter an open space. The large space, compared with the layout before, is the so-called 'changing'.
After people pass by the small square, the street space is drew in once again. When people reach the lakeside, they will face the beautiful lake view, which is so-called 'concluding'. The architecture design respects traditional culture. By making use of the ideal thought in modernism, the design attempts to seek for the unification of technology and traditional culture so that the inhabitants can feel like returning to peace and nature. The plane layout takes Chinese-styled yards' structures as reference and integrate various functions by modern design, which gives full consideration of convenience, comfort, original artistic verve and the gorgeous lake views. The modern-styled vertical sections partially use some Chinese traditional elements and pay attention to alternation of various blocks and details with good structure relationships and ratios, which look quite stable, modest and bring strong visual impact to the visitors.
