-For more than ten years Targa Italia has been offering precious furnishing for living and work spaces. A collection featuring linear products, yet with a strong image: this is the result of Targa Italia’s research, where the design energy and the materials’ vitality, not dispersed in the slowness of decisions and production steps, that distort the original intuition, give birth to a product range which makes fresh and genial ideas come true, as well as the capability of anticipating use solutions.

The showroom-store of Milano, a sort of “Laboratory” where ideas are produced, was enlarged last January. It is a space where one can find a careful selection of Targa Italia-manufactured furniture. 300 sqm where a new line of Targa Italia kitchens is proposed, as well as the newest and trendiest household items and tableware and many other items exclusively made for this showroom-store.

It is not a case this showroom is based in a typical evolving Milan area, in a “melting pot” context, where different realities coexist: from the headquarters of publishing houses to old factories, from Tramways’ deposit to the Steam Factory. This space is for Targa Italia a sort of Design Workshop, where a mass-product originates without loosing the original intuition’s energy.

In the showroom coloured panels, to use as paintings, show that a careful eye is given to graphics: in fact at the company’s they assert: ”This issue really completes our project, it helps to understand which taste area it comes from, it contributes to characterize our work with a clear identity, with research and innovation, originalness and consistency”.
