The first commercial project by Zalc Arquitetura was designed for Bannanna, a men’s beachwear brand. Located in the Pinheiros neighborhood of São Paulo, the store was both conceived and built in just one month. The minimalist approach — where the clothing takes center stage — served as the starting point for the design.
The brand’s urban identity is reflected in the space, which blends neutral tones, organic forms, and textured finishes. Curved and linear elements define the layout: islands and niches invite movement through the store, while straight clothing racks bring contrast and balance to the composition.

The color palette — featuring linen tones, black, and wood — sets a sober and intimate atmosphere, while also enhancing the visibility of the products. Custom joinery finished to match the wall textures strengthens the store’s visual cohesion.
The fitting rooms stand out with a bold design: connected by a continuous bench and enclosed with beaded curtains that play with transparency and exposure.
Suspended benches add a sense of lightness and creativity to the environment. Indirect lighting creates a warm ambiance, while spotlighting highlights product islands and featured pieces.
