The DaV Cantalupa restaurant in Bergamo, home to the Cerea family’s haute cuisine, unveils a new look featuring Pedrali collections. The restyling enhances the restaurant’s warm and elegant atmosphere, where guests can experience fine dining while seated on 100% Italian furnishings by Pedrali. Héra Soft armchairs, designed by Patrick Jouin, with its elegant and ergonomic backrest in injected polyurethane foam, blend harmoniously with the space alongside Stiel chairs by Sebastian Herkner, inspired by sophistication, comfort and meticulous attention to detail.
The project is based on the desire to maintain visual connections with the existing landscape, altering it as little as possible and enhancing its most valuable views. Through the installation of glass walls, some of which can be opened, the link between the indoor and outdoor environments is strengthened, increasing the feeling of immersion in nature.
The building fits into the context of Cantalupa, characterized by green areas, flowerbeds, vineyards, and trees scattered throughout the estate. The landscaping project is based on the desire to maintain visual connections with the existing scenery, altering it as little as possible and enhancing its most valuable views.
The restaurant hall, a large open space, also features a lounge bar, a central area for preparing appetizers and desserts, and a show grill area. A large glass wall with fixed and operable panels connects the indoor space with the outdoors, which becomes a natural extension of the dining area. To the south, a smaller glass wall opens up views for diners to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding natural setting.
