LED has renovated an existing 37,000sf concrete commercial building as the new home of an urban family-counseling center currently located in Los Angeles. New local materials, green-screens, exterior courtyards planted with local vegetation, custom designed shading devices and the incorporation of photovoltaic panels as well as new skylights all contribute to the goal of achieving LEED certification.
