The Hogan is a group living apartment building with 36 units.  The project is intended to serve seniors who need a lower cost rental option, and who can benefit from the cooperative living concept.  The project features 36 apartments with private full bathrooms, with shared communal kitchens, dining rooms, and living rooms on each floor.  Other common features include a walk-in bathtub room, exercise rooms, shared laundry rooms, plenty of tenant storage, a dedicated craft workshop, and generous outdoor spaces that encourage gathering, gardening, and outdoor cooking.

The units are a mix of one bedroom and studio units. Each unit has a full bathroom with a roll-in shower, although some units provide bathtubs as an option.  Each unit contains a kitchenette, although the main cooking activities occur in communal kitchens.  Each floor contains a kitchen that serves about 11 units, which is an ideal size to encourage close relationships between residents in that area.
