THE KYEOL Clinic is a dermatology clinic designed to express Korean beauty in a modern way, using a variety of natural materials and details. Instead of being glamorous or flashy, the space feels calm and comfortable, created with quietness and simplicity, while still keeping a sense of elegance.

The clinic’s identity focuses on balancing tradition and modern design. Dark wooden columns made from reclaimed wood and soft hanji-acrylic partitions give the space a peaceful mood. Covering 58 pyeong (about 192 m²), the clinic was designed around the idea of “empty space,” creating openness.

From the reception to the lounge, decorations were kept minimal, and natural light fills the rooms to create a relaxed atmosphere. A travertine counter and display table in neutral beige colors highlight natural textures, while a long wooden bar table and open shelves in the lounge add subtle points of interest without making the space heavy.

In the counseling and CEO’s rooms, reclaimed wood columns bring the feeling of traditional Korean architecture into a modern setting. Simple lines and light-colored walls highlight the beauty of empty space. Glass doors inspired by mist in Korean ink paintings, along with custom-made furniture, add both practicality and design.

The powder room uses a curved hanji-acrylic partition that spreads a soft light, creating a photo-friendly spot. Black marble basin combined with hanging mirrors adds depth with an Asian touch.

The treatment and care rooms have lower ceilings with soft indirect lighting, giving them a warm and cozy feel. The rooms were placed to avoid direct sunlight, creating a stable environment. Sliding doors and a preparation area were designed for efficiency, making the clinic practical as a medical space.

THE KYEOL Clinic was completed with restraint and simplicity, rather than luxury or extravagance. It is more than just a medical clinic—it is a place where clients can relax both body and mind, experiencing a mix of Eastern style and modern design.
