"The Lodge" Rocky Mountain Care

TSA Architects as Architects

Rocky Mountain Care (RMC) fosters a special level of care in the Senior and Rehabilitative Care arena. Their motto “Simply the Best Care” emerges from their mission to treat patients and residents as friends and family within a vibrant community setting. The foundational belief that we are each unique individuals plays an integral part in our neighborhoods and community which in turn enriches each person is manifest in their culture and facility designs. Their newest setting “The Lodge” in Heber City, Utah—celebrating its Grand Opening in March of 2019—further refines RMC’s model of a central Main Street bustling with varied shops, salons, and amenities that support multifaceted living. The prominent Main Street axis greets each visitor and resident from the moment of entry and surrounding native gardens across a bridged creek bed and into a welcoming living room replete with additional gardens, a stone fireplace and the tones of a grand piano. The comprehensive physical therapy suite is close-by and available to both visitor and resident.

Continuing along Main Street, residential neighborhoods branch off to each side between a multimedia Library and Guest Services office. Further on, a Therapy Spa and Hair Salon open their doors to passersby, with places to perch and converse with neighbors along the way. One then enters the community Theatre area, alfresco Dining spots, and Activity Center bounded by and spilling into exterior courtyard Parks—with walking paths and therapeutic Golf greens.

Coming up on the central Dining room which doubles as a meeting and worship area at the far end of Main Street, are two more neighborhoods branching to the left and right. These neighborhoods connect with the first neighborhoods at intimate firelit Family rooms visible from Main Street at the end of the courtyard Parks. Each neighborhood street features multiple Front Porches where family and friends can gather close to home. Each resident Home features spacious bath and shower rooms, bed and guest zones and expansive windows showcasing a view of the beautiful Wasatch Back mountain setting.

The Lodge at Heber City is a gorgeous, mountainous retreat that enhances continued stages of life with a special sense of community while honoring the each unique individual.
