Located in the INIT building on Oosterburg in Amsterdam is the Realworks office. Since 2004, Realworks has been the first online CRM for real estate agents in the Netherlands.
Firm’s request was to provide informal consultation spaces on the unused mezzanine floor within the existing office. The acoustic aspect was a concern, given the open nature of this new space.
The inspiration for the design came from the game Tetris, a metaphor for the digital housing market in which Real Works operates. The design plays with the Tetris blocks as in the computer game: sometimes there are perfect stacks, sometimes an opening arises.
