It is a continuation, an integration into the existing structure and at the same time a continuation, a play with transitions:

transitions between old and new. Transitions between inside and outside. The new architecture blends into the existing structure, extends towards the lake and creates spaces in an interplay of size, height, intimacy and open areas. But always in relation to the surrounding landscape. The terraces lead the space to nature, creating unity and enhancing the effect inside and outside with the large movable window areas, which dissolve the façade and in which the architecture functions as a shade roof.

The architecture plays with folds and enhances development, creating a special atmosphere in the interior. The wooden construction is noticeable both inside and outside, creating shadow effects and special surfaces. At the centre of the system, both outside and inside, is the light funnel, which brings natural light into the interior and provides a special counterpoint.

the special feature of the folds continues on the outside, focusing on structural details and integrating the sun sail made of coloured sheet metal. through positioning – scale, special bends and thanks to the deliberate use of materials and colours – a complex unity is created between the existing building and nature, between the location and the landscape.
