When a newly arrived entrepreneur from Pakistan set out to launch a real estate business in Dubai, he approached ELE Interiors with a singular vision: to establish a space that would not only reflect his brand identity but also resonate with the city’s cultural sophistication. The brief was more than aesthetic—it was symbolic. The goal was to create a working environment that honoured his roots while aligning with Dubai’s dynamic urban energy.
This was not just about designing an office. It was about defining a new kind of real estate space—one that would blend personal heritage, architectural refinement, and brand ethos into a seamless experience. ELE Interiors was tasked with crafting an environment that would function as a workplace, brand statement, and cultural narrative all at once. The result is a concept that reimagines the real estate office as a hybrid space—where spatial clarity meets emotional resonance, and where design becomes a tool for storytelling.

Concept: Spatial Identity and Cultural Integration
At the core of the project lies the idea of refined integration—the merging of brand identity with the architectural and material language of Dubai. The design reflects the duality the client envisioned: a space that feels inherently local yet deeply personal, luxurious yet understated.
The palette takes its cue from the city’s sophisticated design language. Monochromatic tones, clean geometry, and natural textures such as wood veneer, brushed bronze metal, and microcement work in harmony to create a space that feels grounded and elevated. Light plays an active role—not merely illuminating the space but shaping it. It is reflected, diffused, and framed to guide movement and create layered experiences throughout the interior.
Function and aesthetics are inseparable. Architectural purity is preserved through the concealment of functional elements, allowing the design to breathe with a quiet confidence that reflects the client’s brand values and aspirations.

Design Innovation and Thoughtful Integration
Every element within the space has been approached with a balance of flexibility, visual clarity, and performance. Sliding glass partitions enable the conference room to transform seamlessly—offering transparency and connection when open, and privacy when closed, without disrupting the flow of the space. This allowed the room to double as a casual meeting area or a dedicated workstation when required.
Storage solutions were custom-designed and integrated into the architecture to maximize functionality without compromising aesthetics. From concealed cabinetry to integrated wall units, these additions maintain the minimalist vocabulary while responding to the daily needs of a busy office.
One of the standout features is the bespoke phone booth—a quiet, acoustically treated space for private conversations. Fully insulated, it exemplifies the studio’s commitment to creating human-centered solutions that blend effortlessly into the architectural whole.
Technical constraints within the existing shell posed challenges that demanded creative problem-solving. Drain pipes and DB units at the entryway had to be concealed without disrupting the spatial rhythm. ELE Interiors responded with a restructured ceiling system that accommodated these obstacles, preserving the design’s integrity while maintaining a luxurious visual impact.
A central feature of the project is the custom waterfall wall in the reception area. More than a design gesture, it serves as a multisensory focal point—offering visual impact, tranquil sound, and symbolic presence. With no access to a direct water source, the team engineered a bespoke circulation system hidden behind the reception’s back wall. The system was designed for easy maintenance without disrupting the space—its access panel discreetly integrated into the surrounding joinery.

Execution: Crafting Through Constraints
The journey from concept to completion was marked by continuous adaptation. Unforeseen construction challenges—remnants of previous tenant work and undocumented site conditions—demanded day-to-day ingenuity.
One significant challenge was the ceiling design. The original vision for a dropped ceiling with ambient cove lighting in the entrance was threatened by a drain pipe that dropped the ceiling height to just 2.5 meters—well below the envisioned level. Rather than compromise, the team reimagined the layout, preserving a sense of grandeur through alternative lighting strategies and focal elements, maintaining the intended atmosphere without the conventional suspended ceiling.
Similarly, the waterfall feature required advanced coordination. The absence of a built-in water supply line could have derailed the vision. Instead, a fully integrated, self-contained circulation system was developed—an elegant solution that preserved the feature’s design integrity while overcoming technical hurdles.
Throughout, the studio remained committed to aligning each decision with the client’s vision—refining, adjusting, and innovating as the project evolved. The final result is a space where the initial ambition is fully realised: a statement environment that functions beautifully and speaks fluently to its cultural and spatial context.

Atmosphere and Ambience: Light as Language
The location of the space presented another major challenge: minimal access to natural light, due to inward-facing windows with a heavy blue tint. Instead of resisting these conditions, ELE Interiors used them as a catalyst for a new kind of luminosity—one designed rather than received.
A carefully curated palette of pale tones and reflective surfaces enhances the available light, creating a subtle glow that gives the illusion of daylight. The effect is both calming and energising, offering a serene backdrop for productivity and client engagement.
To restore the biophilic connection lost in the absence of natural views, the designers layered the space with warm wood finishes and tactile materials, introducing softness and sensory depth. The result is a workplace that doesn’t merely compensate for its limitations—it transforms them into strengths. The atmosphere is light-filled, grounded, and quietly uplifting.

Technical Innovation and Integrated Detailing
The project’s technical detailing is marked by both precision and restraint. One of the standout achievements is the linear slot diffuser with integrated lighting—a single minimalist element that handles both climate control and ambient light, eliminating visual clutter and maintaining ceiling continuity.
In the CEO office, floating porcelain shelves against tinted mirror surfaces create a sculptural moment—merging practicality with visual weightlessness. These are not decorative flourishes; they are extensions of the architectural rhythm.
Acoustically treated pocket doors enclose the powder room with a minimal footprint, while custom joinery conceals generous storage along circulation paths. Every technical intervention is resolved not just for performance but for poetry—reinforcing the sense of completeness that defines the space.
At the core of the coworking zone, bespoke phone booths offer private acoustic zones while preserving an open-plan layout. Sliding glass partitions enhance flexibility, allowing the office to shift between configurations as needed, further underscoring the adaptability of the design.

Material Palette and Details
Materials were selected to reflect understated luxury: microcement, travertine tiles, wood veneer, PU-painted surfaces, brushed bronze accents, and tinted mirrors form a harmonious whole. Custom-designed furniture, including the workstations and acoustic booths, ensures consistency across form and function.
