The project tries to improve the mobility in the neighbourhood of Can Boada, Terrassa in two ways: Improving the stairs between two streets with 7 meters of height difference and installing a public elevator. The architects redesigned the existing stairs, breaking it in parts of 12 steps, making it easy to walk, with spaces to rest in the middle. They eliminated the residual stairs of the houses and create a small garden in the access to them. The incorporation of a city elevator solves the historical problem of mobility in the area. The formal power of the object is increased by the concrete structure that folds to create the protective covers, and seems to be suspended in the air, and also opens onto the square to have a privileged point of view when your are inside the elevator.
