Designed for a creative couple who wished to have a modern home with a spacious studio for digital and analog works. We flipped all the existing stairs to the opposite direction and coopted previously inaccessible basement rooms. The result is an open interior with distinct and yet connected spaces on all four levels. Tailor made for a young professional couple’s lifestyle, the house serves multiple functions as dwelling, work stations, artist studio, as well as entertaining venue. Elegant sets of suspended stairs become the star feature that seems to enable the burring of the boundaries between work, play, and relaxation.
