Valaiss is a skincare brand that hails from Switzerland, with a focus on perfecting the art of making anti-aging skincare products using award-winning and natural active ingredients sourced from the Swiss Alps.

For the design, we drew inspiration from the pristine environment and mountainous peaks of the Alps. We felt the peaks were representative of brand, which we saw to be the apex of skincare. The Swiss are also known for their high standards of hospitality and we wanted to make sure the space embodied that.

The clients shared that one of the problems they had was that customers often feel intimidated and hesitant about entering. To reduce that sense of intimidation, we created a secondary facade and moved a demo-counter right up front so that customers are gently ushered to enter. The browsing happens unknowingly even before you step into the store. Luxury can be welcoming and approachable.
