This project was a complete interior renovation of a dated ranch house in the Hollywood Hills that now has a stunning mid-century modern feel. The elegant owners, James Ngo and Martin Shreeves, have great taste and their new home very much reflects their sophisticated sensibility. The couple entertains regularly and wanted open living spaces that allow easy flow to the new extended exterior areas. Walls were removed to expand the new light-filled interiors that now access the breathtaking views of the surrounding Verdugo Mountains.
James and Martin have beautiful artwork, chinaware, and heirloom pieces which have been passed down from parents and grandparents, and we incorporated built-ins to showcase their unique collection. The new master suite has two built-in easy access wardrobes behind the sleeping area, and we added a new home office and new guest bedroom suite.
The clients have a beautiful collection of artwork, china, and heirloom pieces that are now displayed beautifully in stunning built-ins. And they love to entertain so their new home allows for beautiful views of the mountains to the east, and lots of areas for indoor/outdoor entertaining.
