The 130 square meter apartment is located near Villa Bonelli, a villa in Rome set in a large park in the upper part of the Portuense district.

The apartment, completely renovated by the ArchiFacturing architecture studio, has been totally upset. The architects Sara Cimarelli and Giorgio Opolka, specializing in architecture and interior design, as often happens in their projects, have aimed to remodel the entire apartment using many tailor-made furnishing solutions in order to obtain an organic and impeccable final result . In this case, in addition to the interior furnishings, the outdoor ones have been designed.

It is commonplace to think that custom-made furniture is often too expensive, reserved for the most exclusive homes. In reality, custom-made furniture can prove to be an excellent (and economic) solution to make the most of spaces, creating environments tailored to our real needs and giving the possibility of exploiting every inch available. In addition, the advantages of custom-made furnishings allow to find alternative and original solutions to overcome many requests of the client, such as in this house, where the living area holds many surprises. Entering the apartment you find yourself in an area with a lowered and colored ceiling where on the right you can see the presence of a wall paneling that actually conceals a secret, indeed more than one. The boiserie, completely custom made, actually hides two large wardrobes in addition to the entrance to both the kitchen and the service area. A continuous surprise for the visitor who, walking in an apartment characterized by rigorous lines and warm and colonial tones, meets continuous unexpected solutions.

Among the furnishings stand out the furnishing accessories that have made the history of design such as the Arco floor lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni produced by Flos; the K Tribe suspensions by Flos designed by Philippe Starck in the kitchen while in the master bedroom, to illuminate the Carrara marble bedside tables, there are the "young" Volée wall lamps by Fontana Arte (2015) that create a contrast in the fluorescent yellow color with the "oil" color of the back wall.
