What was the brief?
A charming early 20th century house in need of some repairs and general refreshment. By keeping the classic style, with some contemporary fittings, in the kitchen and bathroom for example, the house is ready for a few more decades.

What were the key challenges?
Everything had to be imagined and done, the house had only the walls, the floor was made of earth and the first floor was only an attic. The exterior was red brick and the roof had to be redone, so we started from scratch.

What materials did you choose and why?
As usual, we have chosen to use noble materials, wood, granite, aluminium, in order to guarantee a long durability and longevity.
