Villa R1 draws inspiration from modernist pavilions, comprising three low-level volumes that blend seamlessly into the park-like setting. The design emphasizes openness, with the volumes strategically positioned to maximize natural light and uninterrupted views of the sea. The pavilion structure achieves a remarkable sense of spaciousness, with a 24-meter construction span free of columns, a technological feat adapted from bridge-building techniques.
