Along the hip of Bassano’s hills takes place the project of this villa, a one of a kind place.
The customers asked for a clean, simple but most of all relaxing home, that could blend in the environment and strategically use the position of the sun during all the four seasons.
The main concept is to insert a solid form into the hill. However, vertically, the building works as a terraces’ series of different length, where the last one on the top, is covered by a garden-rooftop.
In order to guarantee more privacy to the customers, the house is exposed just in the southern part of the hill. From here they can also enjoy the breathtaking view.
Light plays an important role too in the project, infact thanks to the presence of deep wells, it is possible to bring light into the underground.
Nonetheless, both colors and material contribute to the aim of camouflaging.
Plaster, rock and concrete are treated as works of art and shown in their natural essence.
Inside the building everything is studied in details: there are fluid open spaces, double heights and a continuous play of full-empty where nature participates too.
Interior design is elegant and classy thanks to those marble finishes that enrich the construction materials, in particular the shades “green alps” and “calacatta” have been chosen to create a one of a kind space.
