Following Bayer’s acquisition of Vividion in 2021, the company entered a new phase of growth that created an immediate need for expanded laboratory and office space. The new facility was envisioned to support evolving research demands while offering flexibility, collaboration, and a high-quality workplace experience.

The design concept, described as “serendipitous synergy,” establishes an atmosphere of excitement and possibility. High floor-to-floor heights, abundant natural light, and an open, flexible layout provide the adaptability required for future expansion. Soft curves are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the space, creating a sense of flow and approachability while subtly guiding movement and interaction. These organic forms soften the highly technical nature of the laboratory environment and contribute to a more welcoming, human-centered workplace.
