García House

Marta González Architects as Architects

García housing is designed from two main white stone volumes that fly over another one. Access to housing is produced by the ground floor through a double height lobby. In front of the lobby there is a glazing courtyard with a garden inside, that allows you to see the outside swimming pool. This courtyard is the element that separate the double height living-room and the dining room. At the left side of the lobby there is a wood stair with flown steps and it is accompanied of a interior garden fully lighted through the skylight. This garden confers a degree of humidity allowing greater comfort inside. The whole house is completely equipped in all aspects, so that you have complete control of all the controllable elements both inside and outside. Installed Home automation allows full coordination of sound, lighting, alarms and intrusion, irrigation control, access, opening doors and shutters and temperature control from both inside the house as remotely via internet. This installation as complete allows very high degree of comfort as well as complete control of home, providing a greater degree of safety. In housing has installed Althermal as a renewable energy source, which serves both the soil climate, as ACS and fan coils installed, as well as pool heating if considered necessary.
