The Waltham

Bustamante Arrieta as Architects

The Project is a mixed use development designed as new neighborhood.
The program required Retail, Coliving, Condos, Cowork and a Hotel... the same program that usually a neighborhood includes, the only thing missing was PUBLIC SPACE... So we thought... what if instead of designing a typical private mixed use building, we create the first open gate community focused on urban, social and environmental integration.

Instead of designing a single building with an interior courtyard only for residents, we developed a city-like grid with internal pedestrian and green streets, resulting on eleven blocks that will house mixed use low rise towers that will include retail and restaurants on the street level, Coliving and Condos on the upper levels and Inter connected rooftops with pools and amenities.

The project is not only for the enjoyment of the owners as it's typically done, but for all the city's residents and tourists as well.
