In the very center of Stockholm, under an elevated highway and just beside the new congress center “Stockholm Waterfront”, there is a parking space for road maintainance vehicles. Commissioned by the city council, we´re designing a screen to block the view into the messy service space. We´re calling it “Waterfront backstage” and suggest a framing worthy the indispensable function it has to keep the show we call city life going on.
