Located in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood, this restaurant and floating bar introduce a refined hospitality experience rooted in Mediterranean sensibilities. Drawing conceptual inspiration from the Balearic Islands—particularly the whitewashed lighthouses of Formentera—the design brings a sun-bleached, coastal calm to the edge of the Patapsco River.
At the heart of the project is The Artifact, a sculptural spine that organizes the restaurant’s key program elements: entry, wine cellar, bar, circular booths, and dining room. Composed of vaulted forms finished in lime-wash plaster, it evokes the atmosphere of an unearthed catacomb—raw yet precise—serving as a counterpoint to the open views of the harbor beyond.
