We’re proud to submit our Wellington Street, Cremorne kitchen — a project that brings together bold colour, layered materials, and a highly resolved design outcome.

This reimagined Melbourne terrace leans into both its heritage and its future. At its heart is a kitchen that doesn’t just cook — it connects. The open plan merges kitchen, dining, bar, and living, designed to support everyday life and slow moments of gathering.

Bluestone walls set the tone, inspiring a palette of muted greens, earthy ochres, and warm timber tones. The porcelain benchtop, with its rusted metal look, picks up the ochre flecks in the stonework, while green cabinetry and a built-in banquette enrich the scheme with colour and comfort. Timber is used generously, grounding the palette and adding softness. The island combines timber veneer with a solid butcher’s block — a deliberate link between the kitchen and bar zone.

Aged brass tapware from Brodware frames the window like sculpture, catching the light and echoing the tones of the stone. Lighting was approached with restraint: recessed cans in the raked ceiling and concealed LED strips let the materials do the talking.

This kitchen is bold but calm, practical but full of feeling — a space designed to last, and to live in.
