Wine Bar Rosso

Italian opulence meets reduced design: In the interior design of a wine cellar with adjoining bar and dining area, style-defining materials were used to create a space that combines pure elegance with a sense of privacy. Calacatta Viola marble allows associations with classical Italian architecture, its extraordinary structure and coloration draw the eye. Lamellar wall coverings of sawed oak and textile wall coverings in earth tones by Patricia Urquiola have a sound-absorbing effect and convey a feeling of warmth and discretion.

A special highlight is a dining table by Tom Dixon made of brushed, solid brass beams that had to be brought into the basement while the building was still under raw construction. Brass as a natural and changing material becomes the storyteller: Convivial evenings leave their mark on the brass over the years and make the table the communicative element of the wine cellar.
