Winghouse is part of the development in Ørestad in Copenhagen. It is a new office building and car park in Ørestad City, close to the Metro, motorway, Copenhagen airport and the Øresund Bridge.

The building is completely penetrated by light that, together with the reflection from the water from the waterfront, provides a sense of air and spatiality. Winghouse gets its name from the building’s architectural expression. The sculptural building takes the shape of a stylised wing and is designed to visually give the impression of a floating house.

The flexible layout of the building is created to have the possibility of both opened and closed office environments. This way different tenants and future user needs are taking into account. Additionally, the house comprises an impressive triple-high reception area and a large joint canteen with direct access to the southern roof garden.

Together with the Ferring building, Ørestad High School and IT University in Ørestad North Winghouse constitutes a natural part of the new urban development and will appear as the future landmark of outstanding architecture in this part of town.
