The site is a corner lot of about 460 m2 where the north and west border the road. The north side is across the road, there is a magnificent temple, the east side is a park with a large commemorative tree, and the south side is a parking lot, and the surrounding environment is open and spacious. The client was retired this year and wanted a small house of about 70 m2 to live slowly after retirement. The image is that there is a small square roof that corresponds to the roof of the temple on the north side. In this simple structure, it was designed to create a rich space where two types of natural light exist. One is the light that falls from the top light at the top of the roof, and the other is the indirect light that bounces on the ground and rises from the south and east sides. These lights change according to the seasons and weather, creating various conditions and creating abundant places to live.
