Set above the harbour of Symi, in a restored neoclassical building facing the island's famous port, Yachta takes its colours from the island itself: warm terracotta walls, the green of its gardens and the glow of the neoclassical houses at dusk.
Laser-cut screens with palm-leaf motifs filter the light by day and glow from behind at night, banana plants and a living green wall bring the garden indoors, and woven rattan chairs give the roof terrace a relaxed Mediterranean ease. Even the bathroom carries the story, dressed in handmade Spanish tiles by Mainzu.
A bar and restaurant that feels like a summer evening on the island, with Symi always in view.
