Founded by architects Esteban Castro and Carla Carranza (Costa Rica), AARCANO is an architecture firm attracted to the process of change and transformation. We’re motivated by research and the search for the essence and meaning behind our proposals, knowing that our project is a temporary footprint that is part of a grander scheme. We perceive architecture to be part of the present space, connecting the past and the future. Where we can practice pausing as a means to understand and respect, being able to observe, listen, and absorb, in order to respond to our surroundings with sensibility.
