FRPO is an internationally awarded architectural design firm based in Madrid and led by Fernando Rodríguez and Pablo Oriol. We are committed with innovative design as a continuous conversation between all the agents that contribute to the complexity of building processes. We understand architecture as an enjoyable way of improving our relationship with the environment.
FRPO has recently been awarded the Architectural Record Design Vanguard 2012 recognition by New York based publication Architectural Record as one of the most promising young architectural offices in the world, and the Europe 40 UNDER 40 award by Chicago Architectural Club in 2009. We have recieved a large number of prizes in national and international competitions and awards, including the OS House and MO House wide recognition, the First Prize in the International Competition for the Access and Services Building in Madrid City of Justice or the Second Prize in the International Competition for the World Trade Organization Headquarters Extension in Geneva, Switzerland.
