GIPP arkitektur set out to create architecture by thoughtfully interpreting both the needs of an individual client and the specific characteristics of a site. In order to achieve an architectural whole, we believe that in depth studies of flows as well as of spatial and structural relationships are essential. In each individual project everything down to the design of details and the choice of materials, relates back to a main concept. The studio was founded in 2009 by Petra Gipp and is widely published and awarded with prizes such as:
Residence Magazine – architect of the year 2016, WAN Future Project Residential Award 2015, The Swedish Association of Architects Award Östergötland 2014, The Swedish Association of Architects Award Skåne 2011 and Concrete Architect of the year 2012and been nominated to Mies van der Rohe Award 2015 and The Swedish Association of Architects Award Best Villa 2015.
