In over 40 years of practice, Shieh Arquitetos Associados, a São Paulo-based architecture firm, works in a pluralistic manner and develops special projects on a variety of scales: from small houses to large urban plans. Founded by architect and urbanist Shieh Shueh Yau, today the office is led by the founding partner and also by Leonardo Shieh, Irene Shieh and Kathia Shieh. Among the projects already developed are single and multifamily residences, commercial, institutional - with a strong presence in the field of educational architecture, with several projects already built in the segment -, health, industries and logistics, and urban plans. Recognized by the market and customers for project excellence and a solid reputation, Shieh Arquitetos Associados approaches architecture through an intense work of understanding clients’ needs, site study and proper constructive technique, aiming at the most appropriate articulation of uses, rationality of flows, spatiality, constructive rationality, energy efficiency and low environmental impact, and artistic beauty and cultural enrichment. After four decades of work, the office's work has already been recognized in important competitions and architecture awards.
