The apartment is located in the prestigious Grand Hyatt Residences condominium in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, a development that offers the freedom of having a private space combined with the functionality of the exclusive services of the Gran Hyatt hotel, which is connected to the condominium. Originally composed of three units of one-bedroom apartments and a living room, the property is made up of 3 integrated apartments, forming a large 355m² apartment, with three bedrooms and a generous living room and balcony. The place has a privileged view of Praia da Barra and Lagoa de Marapendi.

The proposal came from the best possible use of the incredible view that encompasses practically every room in the apartment, especially the couple's bedroom and bathroom, which was positioned facing the beach. The integration between the environments was one of the main focuses, with the living room being expanded with a balcony and open kitchen, creating a large and airy social area. The kitchen was planned in a minimalist, functional way, and has state-of-the-art equipment, much more equipped than the original units. The entrance hall was covered in natural oak wood, and the living room wall was highlighted with works of art acquired by the client on trips, as well as some chosen together with Paola.

Regarding the children's rooms, the rooms were designed with themes chosen by the children themselves, they really wanted their children to also fall in love and enjoy their new home. One of the highlights is the family room designed especially for stepchildren, which connects to the balcony, where there is a playroom and study area, as well as a laundry room built into the woodwork, offering practicality and organization to the environment.

Materials Used:

The original natural stone floor was expanded, preserving the elegance and character of the property. The kitchen countertops were made in Dekton Danae and the bathrooms were all covered in marble. For the wall coverings and joinery, natural oak wood was chosen, which brings warmth to the environment.
