A collaboration with Construtora Pasqualotto&GT, one of Brazil’s top development and construction firms, Yachthouse by Pininfarina is a high-end residential project located in Balneário Camboriú, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Combining the unique elegance and dynamism of Pininfarina’s architectural style, the iconic two-tower skyscraper, located between the Camboriú river and the Atlantic Ocean, is a true landmark in the area, and is slated to become the tallest in Brazil. AkzoNobel has development the Ultra durable finishes for the Aluminum profiles & the ACM that compose this incredible facade.

Located between the Camboriú river and the Atlantic Ocean in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, the multifamily building exudes the unique elegance and dynamism of Pininfarina’s architectural style—an aesthetic that is fundamentally influenced by their rich automotive-design heritage. In addition to living within an iconic building of record-breaking heights, residents will receive privileged access to Marina Tedesco, one of the most prestigious ports in the country. 

Working with developer Construtora Pasqualotto GT, the structure of the building consists of two towers and the base, with the design team drawing inspiration from the triangular piece of land where the towers are located. This triangular-shaped base was envisioned as the keel of a yacht, ready to dive into the sea, reminiscent of Pininfarina’s experience in the transportation sector. The towers feature large glass wall panels that will offer residents sweeping views of the ocean and Brazilian forests.

Responsible for designing the building’s interior common areas, including the swimming pools, playgrounds, dining hall, entrance, lobby, as well as the model apartment, the design team has created a holistic Pininfarina custom-luxury lifestyle experience, where exclusivity is an amenity within itself.
