The infinity pool has officially been verified by Guinness World Records™ on 24th May 2021 and is 293.906 m high.

A balanced mix of laidback ambience and unpretentious design, ZETA Seventy-Seven focuses on quality and comfort while providing
residents and tourists with a whole new dining experience second to none even for the ever-evolving city like Dubai.ZETA Seventy-Seven can accommodate up to 120 guests around its spectacular open-air terrace and up to 84 guests in 12 private indoor air-conditioned cabanas equipped with TVs, music controllers, coffee machines, private bathroomsand other amenities.
Guests can bask in the panoramic view of the sparkling Arabian Gulf and Ain Dubai and unfold more than seventy-seven world-class experiences with exemplary cuisine, superb mixology and ambience, only at ZETA Seventy-Seven.KCA was asked to design a hotspot outdoor bar &lounge that would be destined to enter the Guinness World Records. The brief was to design a casual yet high end “al fresco” dining and drinks venue, with a relaxed and upscale style. Zeta Seventy-Seven is the second instalment of the chic concept, Zeta, which first opened in Address Downtown.
Key Elements that had to be considered in the design were as follows:
1. Feature bar with areas for lounging and dining
2. Private Bungalows with living area and bathroom
3. Materials to include Timber, Linen, Blue & Green Accents
4. Feature leaf and palm detailing
5. Concrete, Brass hard finishes
6. Elegant yet Fun.
The area must be a luxurious retreat where guests can unwind and relax in a chic environment with all the comforts in a luxurious bungalow setting. Each bungalow / cabana is an individual fully air-conditioned space with a private living area and bathroom facilities.The inspiration was “A modern oasis in a City environment”. As water is the key element to an Oasis, the colors play on the shades of turquoise, in clear connection to the views to the sea.We combined this Oasiswith a modern urban beach club environment. The décor is minimal yet functional and we pared back the FF&E and selected only what we felt was necessary to keep each space light and fresh. The leaf from the palm tree is a special detail and added throughout the space (i.e coffee table, custom designed bar front).The design has a lighter touch than the downtown venue, to evoke a sense of brightness and escape from the outlines of the city.KCA worked closely with thearchitectand landscaping consultants to make the roof top terrace a romantic and dreamy-like sunset spot. The element of water is key, not only because of the Oasis theme, but also due to the unique Hotel location, directly on the beachfront.
The pool stretches across the main frontage of the building and with clear glass creates a stunning infinity pool which has already been inaugurated in the Guinness Book of World Records. On leaving the lift lobby and stepping out onto the terrace, the pool appears before you and seems to merge with the sea behind.The bar is sculptural in design and takes on the shape of the floor plate of the building (a large oval). With a covered canopy and feature bronze metal leaf bar front, the bar is the highlight of the lounge space.
