NEUTRAL STORIES

The key requirement of the project was the conversion of a 320sqm apartment in the picturesque neighborhood of Kefalari in Kifissia, into two modern autonomous separate flats, 200sqm and 120sqm, respectively. TAKA+PARTNERS The large existing openings of the building, that develop a continuous dialogue between the interior and the natural environment of an area with thick vegetation and cool climate, comprised the underlying principle of the design study. The main orientation of the large apartment is north. Therefore, the choice of colors has been made with the logic of a neutral palette with light tones, where white and off-white colors, that prevail, are acting as a canvas for affixing intense black elements. HIDDEN HOUSES

The aim of the project was the design of summer houses, in two neighboring plots, which are located very close to the settlement of Kriopigi in H​alkidiki and at a great distance from the sea. Nevertheless, the view to the sea is unobstructed and very impressive. The plot is bordered by many olive groves, characteristic of all Mediterranean places. Even inside the plot, the existing olives were kept in place and influenced the design.After the analysis of the requested, two large houses were proposed on the upper plot and three smaller ones on the lower one. PENINSULA VILLA

This project consists of two summer houses, which are located on a single plot, in Skala Sotiros in the Greek island of Thassos. The plot is in dialogue with the sea, in front of which stretches a peninsula which work as natural barrier that delimits an axis between the plot’s beach and the plot itself. The central idea of ​​the proposal concerns the "invasion" of the peninsula within the plot and its transformation into a platform of uses.
