Subtle yet imposing, wood takes center stage in this 160 sqm apartment. It adorns various elements, from objects and mirrors to consoles, sliding doors segregating the living area, and even the bed's frame—all in dark hues, resulting in a vintage and welcoming ambiance. In the kitchen, we combined special materials, such as calacatta michelangelo nuvolato marble and white cabinets, to achieve the desired vintage aesthetic. Daylight only sparsely penetrates the north-facing box windows into this Viennese apartment situated in a turn-of-the-century ‘Altbau’ building. SCHÖNSTIL develops a new living concept based on the appealing splendor of the rounded arch entryway. The adjoining library and dining area were immersed in infinite deep-sea blue.
