LA GALLERIA

Rather than organizing the store areas by single brands or by typology, we intend to shuffle brands and items in order to create visuals and possibility of combining different items from different brands, enhancing the buyer’s experience and the potential amount of purchases. Therefore the shop would be made of different volumes and clusters rather than surfaces and open spaces.  Lapis Bureau (LxB) Lapis Bureau (LxB) Lapis Bureau (LxB) Architectural elements are separating the spaces and at the same time host different items in “fashion island” : clothes, accessories, wearables, shoes, scarves, hats, etc., displayed next to each others. OskayStore

OskayStore, a curated space, is situated in the historic First Bank Warehouse in Yancheng, Kaohsiung. Drawing inspiration from my perspective growing up in Kaohsiung, I have incorporated the ruggedness of the mountains, the calmness of the sea, and the urban development of the industrial port into our design elements. The aim is to deeply engage with Yancheng Warehouse culture through these visual elements. Caption Caption Caption Caption Caption The store's name, "OSKAY," originates from the pause language used by kids playing hide-and-seek in the 70s and 80s in southern Taiwan. We have translated the concept of hiding into a design technique, attempting to create more interesting corners within the space. Confron... More
