A contemporary hospitality complex rooted in the layered history of Samos. Sivilla Hotel reimagines the island’s architectural memory through a constellation of autonomous shelters and embedded narratives. The Erskine Residence, situated at the end of a row of Victorian workers' cottages in Melbourne's bayside suburb of Middle Park, stands as an architectural marvel. Its seemingly windowless facade conceals a light-filled interior, illuminated by strategically placed skylights and a series of walled gardens that traverse the house's two levels. The Maria Flor Inn is a boutique hotel with 12 rooms, located on the island of Fernando de Noronha, a Natural World Heritage (UNESCO, 2001). The project is the result of the collaboration between Priscilla Muller Studio and Solo Arquitetos, and it was conceived as a sponge of its context, seeking to absorb and integrate architecture and nature in a subtle, respectful and responsible way. The program consisted of creating a separate funeral chapel from the rest of the chapels in what used to be a parking lot. Therefore,it was decided to take advantage of the building's structure and create three significant moments. After years of weekend visits and time spent getting to intimately know their site, the clients’ main charge was to realize a house which would allow them to use and enjoy the land to its fullest. Located in the rolling landscape of Wimberley, Texas, it was only natural to take advantage of the miniature plateaus contained within the 22-acre lot. These “land shelves” span across the site in the east-west direction making them an ideal platform for a house which takes advantage of both solar and wind orientation. This house is a significant example of a path along which every proposal and choice were custom-made. Every detail, material and piece of furniture were tailored thanks to a continuous dialog. The rich exchange between the studio and the client resulted in a very solid house: two opposing prisms, distinguished also by two different claddings. The volume in foreground is plastered in gray, the largest one is cladded in Cardoso stone, which is also used for all the external flooring and for the ground floor, indoors. The Project is located in Bharuch, Gujarat, India within the carpet area of 500 Sq. Ft. and was Completed in the year 2018.The major project requirements were waiting area for 3-4 people, workspace for 3-4 people, main cabin, store and pantry.  The idea was to design a flexible work environment to cater the modern creative workforce, which differs from a conventional office. The concept was to move out of the cubicles and making use of the curvilinear form in a square shaped space to create adaptive fluidity. Dating back to the last century, the "cellaio" was built in one of the most  panoramic areas of the island of Ischia, immersed in the hilly land, at that time subdivided into terraces for the cultivation of the grapes. The harvest period was in fact the only time of the year when the house was inhabited. During the seventies, however, a series of particularly invasive interventions (such as the replacement of the ancient wooden floors with new cement brickworks and the more regular reconstruction of the facades), partially modified the spontaneous and raw character of the original construction forms.
