The Dip Pavillion

The Dip Pavilion is conceived as an elemental architectural intervention within an existing residential landscape. Designed primarily for evening use alongside a swimming pool, the pavilion negotiates openness and enclosure while maintaining a calibrated relationship between architecture and landscape.   Caption Caption The project is organized as a linear, transparent volume held beneath a singular roof plane and supported by an independent structural system. Full height glazing allows uninterrupted visual continuity across the garden, while slender columns placed beyond the glass frame the space. This separation preserves the lightness and fluidity of the interior volume while establishing a clear architectural rhythm and... More

Angin Cloud

In June 2024, architecture studio vn-a was commissioned by the artist collective Art Labor (Thảo Nguyên Phan, Trương Công Tùng, and Arlette Quỳnh-Anh Trần) to design the architecture, construction, and technical details of their artwork Angin Cloud in the Padang Atrium of the National Gallery Singapore. Angin Cloud is a large-scale, multi-level installation curated by Kathleen Ditzig, on view at the Padang Atrium of the National Gallery Singapore until 30 November 2025. Commissioned jointly by the Gallery’s OUTBOUND programme and Light to Night Singapore 2025, the project reimagines the rural industrialisation of Vietnam’s Central Highlands through a poetic and spatially immersive lens. Casa A+P

Located in one of the most pleasant streets in the center of Bologna, Casa A+P is the result of detailed and passionate interior work in which each element has been designed in a sartorial way. Fabio Bascetta Fotografo Choosing a new home means facing a major life change and for an architect, designing the space, even before starting to design it, means collecting, condensing and rationalizing the new needs of the client but also, and above all, giving shape to the dreams that this change brings with it. Fabio Bascetta Fotografo So Casa A+P had to respond to a request that almost sounded like a bet: managing to contain twenty years of life spent in a larger home in a new, more intimate space without, however, giving up for... Compass Bamboo Pavilion

The Compass Bamboo Pavilion is located at the  entrance of the Compass Village, Lin'an District,  Hangzhou, China, serving as a landmark for the  village. The pavilion provides a leisure space for  villagers and tourists. The design adopts a bottom-  up concept. Sixteen bamboo segments are inter-  crossed to form a sector, and then sixty sectors are  connected circularly to create an umbrella shape.  The sectors incline outwards due to gravity, and they  mutually achieve the balance. The pavilion is five  metres high and ten metres in diameter. Under it,  there is a semicircle of bamboo chair designed with  the same constructional logic for people enjoying the  mountain view.... Hartington Terrace

Project Summary Windsorpatania was tasked with redesigning the interior of a Victorian detached home in Cambridge's beautiful neighbourhood. Our clients, the homeowners, had precise interior design preferences for their new home, with a strong preference for modern classic style. Their primary goal was to improve the quality and functionality of the rooms through layout alterations. Caption Respecting the context Prior to the design process, a thorough examination of current changes to other buildings in the neighbourhood was conducted to verify that our plan is consistent with the area's established character. Our goal was to not just demonstrate respect but also improve the overall context. Drawing on this research, our team propos... More

House K

We designed a residence that doubles as a workspace in a 50-year-old apartment building on a high ground in the heart of the city. The building stands on a hillside in the shape of a mortar facing a nearby river. Because of the change in zoning across the road, there are no tall buildings in front of the apartment, and the balcony offers a wide view of the city stretching out to the horizon, merging with the sky.  Masanori Kaneshita Masanori Kaneshita Masanori Kaneshita The U-shaped floor has windows on three sides, allowing daylight to flow in and air to circulate throughout the day, as well as enabling the residents to feel close to the outdoors environment even inside. The topography and the long history of human pr... More

V ORMAN RESORT

V Orman Resort is a mixed-use complex in the Mudurnu district of Bolu, which is being built in phases. This complex is accompanied by a topographically specific terrain with a mesmerizing natural landscape and high altitude.  Instead of a single building that disrupts the landscape with large-scale interventions, the project adopts the principle of fragmented horizontal architecture, aiming to preserve the overall texture of the existing topography. In Bolu, a city known for its natural beauty, this has enabled users to actively use open spaces instead of circulating in a closed volume while switching to different functions, to make maximum use of fresh air instead of mechanical ventilation, and to integrate with nature.  ECCE... House of Gardener - Reformed Church and Congregation Home

The new home of the Budaörs Reformed Congregation was built in the center of Budaörs. Zsolt Hlinka The attention-grabbing and inviting but not ostentatious church was built on a long and narrow site.  Zsolt Hlinka József Hajdú Jesus Christ says: "...my Father is the gardener. I am the true vine, you are the branches..." (John 15:1,5) This verb contains the past, as Budaörs used to be a grape-growing region, and the future: the church's mission. As the plant grows from the roots and brings fruit, the church also wants to grow and strengthen. Zsolt Hlinka Zsolt Hlinka We envisioned an opened, inviting building to convey that you can come in here. Since it was not possible to create... More

Keeree Tara Riverside

Keeree Tara Riverside is a brand new restaurant intended as a replacement of itsoriginal branch located nearby. The restaurant itself is one of the most popularand successful Thai restaurants in Kanchanaburi, so the owner decided tomaintain a sense of the traditional Thai style reflected on the building that links tothe Thai dishes served. Due to its small property size, especially when comparedto the required functions of a major restaurant branch, the restaurant needs to beable to support large-scale events such as seminars, and weddings. This resultedin having a large commissary kitchen of over a thousand square meters in order tofully support any future expansions and the nearby branches. Not only that KeereeTara has to house a large se... More

A4H

A Mute Icon: Responding to the brief of providing a commercial office building in a very formal context, the project aims to construct an authentic dichotomic image: one that can be confused for a strange civic building, too mute to be publicly engaged, but yet too eccentrically unusual to be privately used. Governing the construction of this image is the problem of mass. A simple volume cladded in a dark tinted glass curtain wall is cut diagonally into a crystalline shape, therefore creating a more idiosyncratic silhouette. A horizontally subtracted balcony slices the mass horizontally across the two main facades, and affords the medical offices with more visibility and a direct relationship with the exterior. Adjacent to the main entry at... More

Sound Affects

The Sonos exhibition was intended as an immersive series of environments employing strategies of metamorphoic architecture. An emotional connection between music, space and pattern is experienced by the audience as their bodies move throughout Sonos Studio. Projections and materials distort and misrepresent form, creating three somewhat indeterminate environments: serene, playful and explosive. The explosive atmosphere is constantly fragmenting through patterning and the inversion of form and shadow. Joshua White The playful space’s pink reflective insides are energized by projection creating vivacious and unpredictable surroundings, while the “serene” space remains comfortable, soft and stable. These material and sp... More

Temporary Space

The design of Temporary Space LA aims to emulate a form of micro urbanity inside the art gallery. Upon entering the space, visitors will be confronted with a user-friendly more akin to a public realm feeling than to a traditional art gallery. Taiyo Watanabe, Patterns, Temporary Space Our strategy produces attractive and intricate spaces out of existing anomalies: columns placed in weird positions were purposely eaten away by walls and masses, so as to clean the interior as much as to give it spatial meaning. As a result, we imagine the large abstract and figurative paintings by Richard Shelton will not only be viewed as autonomous objects, but as possible and ever-changing articulations to larger architectural constructs. The projecti... More
